Star Academy Season 8 sent her home, the fans lost it. But thanks to "The Voice" she was given another shot. And most are happy to see Lamia, the daughter of Tunisia back on the spotlight with a microphone. She is a kindred spirit and has a warm voice, and a bubbly personality.
After three seconds of opening her mouth, she had a concert in Assi Hallani as she performed Summertime. Then when she did an Arabic song by Asmahan, she won the rest of the judges over including her country man Saber El Robaei. She can sing, and the fans love to see and hear her. I would say she stands a big chance in taking home the title. She does take on a different personality when she sings Arabic and when she does songs in English.
Kazem sang a song for her too, filtered with her and seemed to really want to by in the Lamia business. They fought over her and pushed one another. She joined Team Saber. One a side note, I love how the show manufactures drama and tension by focusing on family freinds of the contestant getting excited when a judge turns his chair.
