Yasmine Abdel Aziz might be Egypt's female lead in movies. It's safe to argue that most blockbuster movies have a guy in the lead. The only lady that has ever lead a movie in the past five years and made as much money as the guys is Yasmine Abdel Aziz. I like to call her the Tina Fey of Arabia. Thought other Hollywood funniest ladies like Isla Fisher and Anna Faris come to mind She is involved in the writing process as well, she has the non threatening good looks.
Her wining formula uses a lot of cute but trouble-making kids, she wins every time and people flock theaters to see whatever movie she stars in. Her last movie came in 2010. But for 2012, she is back with a hit comedy called "Miss Mom" "Al Anisah Mommy". She is back in action, telling jokes, doing physical humor kids love. And ding the home girl who wants to show the fake girls the meaning of being a woman.
She makes fun of herself and doe snot worry about looking childish herself, she knows she is good looking but she does not make her movies about her looks. She wins with humor and comedy. There are lot of pranks in her movies, a lot of laughter and a great deal of energy.
There are many great actors who support Yasmine and cheer her on. Some of them star along her side, but she is on top of the ticket--not them. Watch the trailer and get in with the joke.
