Samir Sfeir, When Creative Composers Get Lazy

Things are getting interesting with Lebanese composers, last week, Egyptian composers are giving up the their lead and fine with the Lebanese song being the number 1. So when you are number 1, you cannot be giving us work that could doing a number 2 on us.

Samir Sfeir is a household name in Lebanese composing and music, he is a seasoned composer and a lot of opinions. Sameer has worked with ALL the singers in Lebanon, not once not twice, but more.

But it took another Lebanese composer to call Sameer's bluff. Jan Saliba brought the music of one of Assi Hallani's song that Sifeer has composed. Listen to the play by play and you will see the music is stolen from other Lebanese songs, one for the iconic singer Wadie Al Safy and another of a personal favorite of mine Julia Butrous.
