Nassif Zaytoun Sang To Falsteen First

It looks that the winner of Star Academy season 7 Nassif Zaytoun has a lot more history than I knew earlier. He came across as a guy who can rock those oldie songs and bring them to life by staying loyal to their essence.

Thanks to a reader of Hot Arabic Music blog, we have unearthed two songs of his when he toured with the very Palestinians band Al Ashqeen Band. This is an old band that most of its original band members are still around and performing. Nassif was not one of the early members, but he seemed to know his way around the stories this band has been telling since the 60s.

I must say, I am impressed, but since this singer is Syrian Palestine seems to be on their mind, I know it's in their hearts and souls too.
